Glacier National Park, the fourth largest National Park in the US is famous for its majestic alpine scenery, snow-crested peaks, gleaming lakes, sparkling waterfalls, and rich, green forests. It is an unspoiled scenic paradise, nestled within the Rocky Mountains of Montana in the United States. Nicknamed "The Crown Jewel of the Continent" and "Switzerland of North America," Glacier National Park is comprised of 1.4 million acres of breathtaking beauty and is one of the oldest scenic wonders in the United States. Glacier boasts a thousand miles of trout streams, more than two hundred sparkling lakes, myriad of wild flowers and fifty living glaciers. Wildlife includes deer, elk, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, black and grizzly bears (to name a few) in their natural habitat. The famous Going-To-The-Sun Road, carved out of solid rock and completed in 1932, is approximately fifty miles long, bisecting the Park east and west. This breathtaking trip to the top of the Continental Divide is one of the most scenic in the world.

Two nights: As guests enter the Glacier Lodge, they pause with awe at the enormous Douglas Fir trees that surround its majestic lobby and realize why it is commonly called the "Big Tree Hotel." This magnificent hotel, steeped in history and culture, is where guests can play a game of golf, take a swim in the outdoor, heated pool or enjoy nature trails on horseback. Many choose to relax and enjoy a good book or a game in the reading room, as they admire the mountain views and the glorious gardens at the lodge. After a memorable day, you can unwind and appreciate a hearty meal in the Steak and Rib House or a relaxing view of the sunset from one of the many decks or balconies.
Tour the Park - Let them do the driving...trust me, you will enjoy this: The antique red buses are both a symbol of Glacier National Park and a reminder of a time when adventurous travel was done with style and grace. Your journey starts in the cedar/hemlock forests of the McDonald Valley. “Up” is the best description as you travel the Going-to-the-Sun Road along a glacier-formed arête to the top of the Crown of the Continent at Logan Pass. Head down the St. Mary Valley through Douglas fir forests to St. Mary Lake, out to the prairies of Big Sky Country, then into the magnificent Swiftcurrent Valley. Have lunch (optional) in the Ptarmington dining room at historic Many Glacier Hotel. Leaving Many Glacier with sensory overload is a mandatory component of this tour. You will not get enough so a repeat performance is in order as you head back to the west side for late afternoon views and vistas.
.

Newer Cottages
Tucked away in Northwest Montana lies the Flathead Valley. A pristine recreational environment surrounded by wilderness, which is also home to Flathead Lake. This lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. The Valley also has many smaller lakes and river systems making it a fisherman's paradise. Aside from the many outdoor recreational opportunities, there are numerous shops, world-class galleries and restaurants.
Two Nights - an idyllic setting full of amenities and just a short stroll from the restaurants, galleries, shops and theater that have made the Village one of the Northwest's premier destinations. The luxury cottages are not only charming and unique, they are also new and have design touches such and amenities of high speed Internet access, fireplaces, air conditioning and cable television in both the living room and bedroom. There are more rivers and streams than we can count. Not to mention a Nature Trail that begins right on the edge of town and winds along the River – a short walk from the cottages.

Tickets to the Live Playhouse Performance.
